Steve Sarkisian has had his share of criticism over the past few years. From the University of Alabama's loss in the 2017 National Championship to the Atlanta Falcons' recent debacle in New England, he has been questioned about his play-calling ability. Perhaps the most infamous moment of Sarkisian's career came when he was abruptly fired as the head coach of the USC Trojans.
An endorsement from the right celebrity can make any product seem tempting. With the right celebrity spokesperson, companies can expect to receive a boost of publicity and glamour. Consumers who buy a product because of a high-profile endorsement frequently do so because they want to emulate the celebrity, or because they implicitly trust his or her judgment.
Breaking into the entertainment industry is arguably the most difficult, yet most rewarding experience a young professional may have. Whether one seeks a career as a screenwriter, director or actor, the roads to a professional career can be as diverse and unlikely as the heroes depicted in the films we enjoy.
When we consider movies based on a person’s real-life experiences, we may not think about how the creative licenses a writer or director took to tell the audience a story. After all, a writer or director may rely on embellished impressions of true stories as well as fictional characters based on real people. While this may lead to a great story (and a fantastic movie), the real-life people depicted in them may feel like their identities were improperly used; either because they disagree with how the story was told their likeness and experiences were portrayed differently.
Putting it in a way that even a child could easily understand, some aggrieved parties are merely asking a bigger playmate to share the toys.
It's certainly true that seeing someone dressed in a banana suit on Halloween hardly qualifies as news. A recent banana-themed article (we concede that there aren't many of those) points out that people across the country collectively spend about $3.4 billion on costumes for October's seminal party evening. And, reportedly, more than a few quid of that massive outflow goes toward banana costumes.
